Have a snack with me while I recap our Olympic matches. Part 4. So, our fourth match of the Olympics was the quarter finals against Brazil. There’s only one scenario for this match. Win or you go home. Also, one other thing. Brazil had made the semi finals pretty much every Olympics, so we’re trying to knock them out. First set, Brazil came out hot. Their servers were on fire. Their offense was on fire, and they went to an early lead. But then, and I don’t really remember how, we came back, ended up winning the first set by two points. Then in the second set, pretty much the opposite happened. We got to a big lead almost till the end. They came back and snatched away the second set by two points. Also, at that point, I realized that Serena Williams was watching, and I was very distracted. Delicious. And then you guys, I’m not gonna lie, I don’t really remember what happened in the third and fourth set, but we played pretty well, really steady. And we took the third and fourth set, which means we won the match three sets to one. All I remember thinking was that that match was super hard. Brazil is always tough to beat, especially in the quarterfinals. But we won, and we’re moving on to the semifinals.
