You guys wanted an update video on how that makeup wore in Texas heat. So I’m gonna go through some of the products that I use that I recommend if you are traveling this summer in super hot climates and you don’t want your face to look a whole mess.
So Saturday was the hottest of days because we went to a Rodeo. We were under direct sunlight. Everything was packed. Restaurants were packed. We were sweating. And then finally, thank god, the Rodeo was indoors.
I’ll actually insert a picture at the end of this video of what my makeup look like after seven hours sweating in Texas heat. Once I secure the sweat primer is amazing. This primer’s gonna act as sort of a barrier when you start sweating. It’s really going to keep your makeup locked in. Highly recommend.
I took a full face of French face and that’s what I was doing for my base and complexion products. And Hoodie, Alumina CC cream. This is an SPF of 50+, but it’s a medium coverage foundation product. You can share this out. You can get as much coverage as you want in like 15 shades. Really easy to find your shade and you’re protected if you’re gonna be in super hot climates and you want a little bit more coverage than a CC cream and you are oily combo skin, Estee Lauder, double wear, she’s gonna do the damping. I got to mention that is the last step to my skincare, the Tote Salaria Mineral SPF 50. This has a bit of a tint. It’s a bit of a white tint on me because I’m a medium tan skin tone in the summer, but it does blend out and soaks into your skin, kind of my double layer of SPF product action. You really need a heavyweight powder, something that is really going to set down your t zone because that’s the area where you can just sweat a lot. I love the one size powder for that purpose. You’re gonna be in hot climates. Don’t take chances with mascara. That is something that is really gonna do you dirty in the wrong weather. Go with a tubing formula. I love the Cali Ray for that big luscious volume. Dramatic lash hack, extended plate, and gigabyte for the bottom lashes. Your mascara is not gonna go anywhere because these are tubing formula form tubes over your lashes. They’re water resistant. So you take them off at night with warm water and just a little bit of gentle pressure. Come off in cheese. Low drama for hot weather. I traveled with shadow sticks. Don’t like the feeling of a lot of makeup in the summer.
These are really easy, perfect summer products. You wanna dress them up, top them off with a micro glitter. This one’s from Color Pop. You can find them. All brands have these last, but for sure, not least, I hope you’re still here. This is the most important product, the biggest favor you can do for yourself this summer. Get one of these. This is one size until dawn setting spray. This will lock your makeup down. Xi’an playing.
If you’re traveling and if you’ve got a summer vacation plan or if you need your makeup to stand, or if you’re a summer bride until dawn, don’t mess with any of the others until dawn. Then keep lipstick on with this. It won’t transfer. I’d say to everybody. I hope that was helpful.
