If there was any doubt who the rookie of the year in the WNBA was gonna be, it was sealed last night by Caitlin Clark. Now, to be fair, in my opinion, she’s been in the league for quite a long time, but tonight she just proved that she’s just on another level. And it’s okay to say it, Caitlin just makes plays that you don’t see a lot of other women making. And that’s no shade at all. It’s just what it is. Like, the vision, the passing angles, it’s just something that we haven’t seen in the WNBA, honestly, we don’t see it at the pro level as often. Like, she’s just a different level of passer. But in my mind, what makes her most marketable and what fans love about her is the deep threes, man. The release, the quickness of it. It’s elite. Like, it’s. It’s NBA level. I hate to say that I know NBA fans are not gonna like to hear that, but that’s just what it is. It’s NBA level type shooting, and she’s. She’s fun to watch. Like, look at this. That release is crazy. But to me, the bigger story is what she’s doing off the court, because these numbers are insane. Now, you can take them with a grain of salt cause they were released by the Indiana Fever, but I can tell you right now that these numbers are legit, man. Cause I live here in Indianapolis and I’ve Never seen anything like this for any athlete. Maybe Peyton Manning in my lifetime, but that’s about it. Like, I was looking to get tickets for when the aces came in town, man. And look at these prices. These are pacer prices. These are NBA prices. These are the prices that I pay when I go see the Clippers play, when I sit behind the bench. These are crazy prices for a W NBA game. Which leads me back to my original point. She’s the rookie of the year, but bigger than that, man, she is the most impactful athlete in sports right now. Like, at least American sports. I didn’t want to say it earlier on, like, I thought it was a little bit of cap, but she is making a change that I have never seen. So let me know what you think in the comments, man.
