Chicago Sky versus Indiana Fever game last night you guys wanna know what I think so here’s my opinion I was in win trust yesterday and sorry for the delay all I can say is that game last night was disappointing I don’t think it was the game that either the Caitlin Clark fans Indiana Fever fans wanted or that the sky fans wanted if you were actually watching the game and saw the game the sky came out hot honestly that first quarter I was like wow we are moving the ball better than we have ever moved the ball the rotations were immaculate it was almost like everyone knew where they were supposed to be we were shooting lights out which if you know anything about basketball you get a little afraid because a team that starts a game off like that that normally doesn’t play like that you always wonder how long is it gonna last but it was lasting almost through the first quarter until teaspoon made some adjustments and took people out of the line up and honestly that was the beginning of the end the rest in the first half of the game were relatively quiet you really didn’t hear much or see them really they really weren’t affecting the game and it felt like as the sky and the fever were battling back and forth towards the end of the second going into the second half it was almost as if the refs were playing a bigger role in the game than anybody else on the floor it might take aways from this game or as follows folks are on TikTok who are trying to understand the WNBA and Sky Basketball need to make sure and make sure to be mindful of who you’re getting your information from there’s so many people who have ideas on the sky or what certain teams should do when they’re actually not even watching the game through and through first things first let me tell you the couple of things that are wrong with the sky from a person who’s actually been watching the game and from last night’s game are as follows I saw the game teaspoons rotations are literally what began to kill us even before the rest had anything to do with it Michaela and Lindsay were having games of a lifetime and unless they were falling out on the floor or needed to come out there was no reason why they should have been taken out the game in the first quarter leading to the second quarter there was absolutely no reason secondly there’s a lot of people who say that you know they need to start running plays for Camilla the sky dude does need to start running place for Camilla but that has literally absolutely nothing to do with Angel Reese Angel Reese is not getting place called for her either and when she got into foul trouble Camilla still wasn’t touching the ball so whose fault is that thirdly there’s just no leadership on the Chicago Sky team outside of what Angel Reese tries to do as a rookie there’s no leadership there’s no order there’s no structure there’s no identity we really didn’t have one going into the Olympic break in the all star break and losing Marina we just don’t know who were supposed to be night in and night out and you see that with some of the mindless mistakes that you see some of the vets making like Diamond the Shields look like the old Diamond for a second and then she just like has a mental part and just runs into Caitlin cause she’s I don’t know she was frustrated or she’s just out of sorts I don’t know but the lack of discipline on the team is just so evident and I just don’t know how we overcome that and then we honestly have to figure out how to prioritize Camilla without making it about injuries because if you’re not if you’re doing that you’re missing the plots Camilla honestly you can’t teach 6 7 you can’t teach what she’s able to give and the fact that our car our guards can’t get her the ball is a huge problem finally and there’s I’ll make another video because I’m on the run right now I have things I have to do but the refs in this league are not matching the talent that we’re seeing in the league the refs are just very inconsistent I they’re inconsistent from quarter to quarter sometimes half to half honestly the only thing that we can consistently count on is that when the New York Liberty play they’re gonna get all the fouls and the other team is gonna get nothing so do I think that the sky are gonna make the playoffs I don’t know honestly it will be a miracle at this point I mean Kennedy would have to play games just out of her mind but with the lack of discipline our issues with rotations the the instability with the refs in their calls I just can’t in good faith make a prediction I can’t so I’m a little frustrated right now guys about this whole game I’m a little frustrated about the you know the things I’ve seen I’ll make another video about the MAGA the Caitlin Clarke pipeline that I saw at Win Trust but that’s not for this video um you guys let me know what you think bye
