McGriddle-inspired Makehift Breakfast Pan: Easy Freezer-Friendly Recipe for Busy Mornings

Today we’re restocking the freezer with a cheap and easy breakfast that both of my kids love. We call this one the makeshift pan, cause it’s got all the flavors of a Mcgriddle and you can throw it together in just a few minutes. To make it, you’re just gonna mix up three cups of your favorite pancake mix, follow the directions on the box, and then add in 1 pound of cooked and drained sausage, a big handful of shredded cheddar, and 1/4 cup of maple syrup. And you’ll just mix that together until everything is incorporated before you pour it onto a greased sheet pan. And once you’ve shimmied and shake that into all the corners, this is gonna go into a 400 degree oven for about 15 minutes until the tops golden brown and it’s ready to serve. This one’s perfect for an easy weekend breakfast. And the leftovers freeze and reheat really well. So you got an easy breakfast in the freezer ready to go on those busy school day mornings.
