The Great Greek Order: A Culinary Journey with Paul Rabil

What did the greatest LaCrosse player of all time order me for lunch? Let’s find out. Joe, what’s up, man? I missed you in Utah, but thanks for coming to our final regular season PLL weekend. I’m here, and I’m gonna see you in Philadelphia for the championship game. Here’s what we’re gonna do in the meantime. I’ve got a spot nearby you. It’s called the Great Greek Mediterranean Grill. And here’s what you’re gonna order. Start with some hummus, get some tzatziki, get some dolmas, maybe spanakopita. That’s how we’re starting. Then there’s this great Greek gyro. It’s got the lamb in it. And then I want you to finish with my family’s favorite dessert. That is baklava. From a Mediterranean to you. Enjoy some. Call Paul the LeBron James of LaCrosse. Actually, call LeBron James the Paul Rabil basketball. But we got Paul’s order right here. Can open it up? Paul, I’m so sorry. I can’t open this up. We got all of it. I don’t even know what half this stuff is. It’s a good thing I’m home eating this so Sydney can help me. Sydney, do you wanna help? Yes. Okay. Spana Copa. Spana Copa. How are you feeling, by the way? Good. Good. We’re gonna go hummus first. There it is. Let’s give it a try. Garbanzos on top is a good touch. Good little touch. Probably just eat that and be perfectly happy. Next we got the tzatziki. Hi, Cooper. Yummy. Might like it. More than the hummus. This might be the best tzatziki I’ve ever had. I was about to say, I can really taste some, like, lemon in there. Oh, it’s super lemony and fresh. Yeah. And that olive oil on top is good. Mmm. Hmm. That was really good. Love those. Great choice. And like Paul said. Yeah. They’re bringing us out to Philadelphia for their championship weekend for the Premier LaCrosse League. First round of playoffs are tomorrow, Monday, and their first round of playoffs are on Monday. Let’s try it. What’s in the spanakopita? Spinach and feta cheese. I thought there was like. Kind of looks like there’s, like, mushrooms. And then we’ve got. He called it a. A. A gyro. He did, but it was a euro. He could call it a tuna fish sandwich in that and I would say yes. Paul. Yeah? Not my favourite. No, I’m not. I think that I’ll like this more than you. I think you. You definitely will like it more than me. Mhm. Yeah. Mhm. What are these called? Doll mates. We’re probably messing them up. I don’t know how I feel about the texture with rice and herbs. I’m not sure if I am brave enough for that. Better than anticipated. That’s good. I don’t know if you’ll like the texture. Texture person. Excuse all the flies in the background. Sorry, guys. Our kids leave the doors open and then flies get in the gyro. There’s the lamb. This Looks so good, gyro. Let’s give it a try. That was an impressive bite. Mm hmm. Where’s the bite that I want to take? Right here. Right here. Yeah. Nice. Really good. That is so good. You can have that half if you want. No, there’s already sauce in it. I’d wanna, like, dunk it in that tzatziki. I am doing another giveaway with the Premier LaCrosse League and Cash App. We are giving away $250. All I want you to do is comment. Who do you think is gonna win the P O L. Championship game in Philadelphia in about two weeks? Don’t look at my shirt. This is so cool. For me, Ol Rabel is, like, the reason I play LaCrosse. I started playing in 2,011, and that’s when his YouTube stuff was going off, and I just watched his videos religiously to learn how to play the sport. This is a dream come true. I’m also eating with my mouth full, which is gross. You had Bock Laba? I think I had. I feel like maybe we’ve gotten one from Trader Joe’s or something in the past. I had it not too long ago. Wasn’t my favourite. Let’s give it a try. Way better than the last one I had. But this is really good. Like a crumble. Yeah, it’s yummy. Only things I’m gonna Mark down is. Wasn’t a huge fan of the Spani Copa Copita. It’s what I said. A B+, an 88%, given a 99%. Do you get that? Was that Paul’s number? That’s Paul’s number. Great job, Paul. Can’t wait to see you in Philadelphia. Check out Premier LaCrosse League playoffs going on this weekend. Make sure to follow to see who orders me lunch next.
