so this is a response to a video that I did about making people earn your trust especially narcissistic toxic people how making people earn your trust in the beginning can help protect you and yo shield you against narcissistic people she said why do we trust people before we know them someone should be teaching these things as we grow up yes narcissism toxic traits 1:01 should be a class at your local high school but a lot of times you trust people because they fit the other criteria they might fit your height weight financial criteria they might fit all this they might fit what you’re looking for off jump right so you automatically have you automatically lower some of your inhibitions or whatever because this person fits what you’re looking for physically financially whatever it is other times you trust people because you get introduced to them to your friends and family members this is your best friend’s brother or sister this is a mutual friends uh college roommate or something like that you automatically trust this person a little bit more than you would a stranger because you have a mutual connection already regardless make people earn your trust I’m serious I’m serious y’all making people earn your trust can out people faster don’t give anybody the benefit of the doubt just because y’all have a mutual friend or friend I say or somebody you know you know you both know the same people you just happen to meet right now like you have to protect yourself make people earn your information
