I know I don’t get on here and talk about photography as much as I used to but I wanted to show you guys my studio it is such a big part of my life right now and what I’m doing so I wanted to show you guys I just got these huge windows put in and we’re renovating the whole thing the roof had to be renovated um it’s gonna need floor it’s gonna need things for the ceiling it’s gonna need lighting it’s gonna need a lot but I just wanted to show you guys where I’m at in the process and also kind of document this for my own purposes so maybe later I can look back on it so here is one of the huge windows that just got put in this used to be a garage door actually so they took that out and they put giant window in I got giant picture windows put in here I’m gonna be getting a new door another giant picture window and then there’s a second room right here for the studio and I’m gonna show you guys that so here there’s gonna have to be steps put in because when you go from the big room to the smaller room there is no steps and this looks like it’s about probably two or three feet this is the window that they put in here this also used to be a garage door opening and here is the room it’s a mess right now but I think it’s really cool to see these kind of progress videos here’s another giant picture window I had put in these were two windows before on each of these picture windows and had those replaced with windows that don’t have grids I think those are much better for photography spaces here is a roof where it got replaced we’re gonna be doing lighting in here I think I’m gonna go with track studio lighting if anybody has any recommendations though or ideas I’d love to hear them but I’m really excited about this this has been a dream of mine for a long time almost a dream I was afraid to let myself dream I’m gonna show you guys outside too ignore all this stuff but this is a porch the outside I have this filter on it so it looks like a different color but the studio is actually like a green color it’s really pretty with all the nature and stuff is back here this is on my property so it’s really cool cause it’s just right here when I wanna shoot there is a light up there that I might replace um it’s not very pretty and it needs to be cleaned I’m super excited about this I’ve been thinking about maybe um you know sharing the space with others and like renting it out but we’ll see
