In simple terms, he is an entity that goes from fighting and protecting the monkeys that he was raised with to gaining so much power and fighting against the gods along the way. And it seems as though with black myth Wukong, they are taking a god of war approach to the story where Sun Wukong is fighting against the gods. As a Christian, in one sense, there is an appreciation for seeing this person who is capable of so much, but always yields himself to learning and wanting to grow and understand more. He’s found himself establishing a relationship with the monkeys, learning their language and their ways, practicing with other spiritual leaders, and learning their discipline so that he himself can become disciplined. That being said, because of his impulsive behavior, this leads to him going on a revolt against the gods, which is something, as a Christian, that you might find to be frustrating and annoying because that’s what the devil did.
