Nourishing Decisions: The Importance of Feeding Your Mind, Body, and Soul

I had this conversation with my son this morning. it was the story of the person going into the kitchen and getting breakfast. if you’ve eaten over the last few days you’ve eaten healthy, you’re not starving. but the person who’s starving comes into the kitchen with a different energy they’ll put anything in their mouth to satisfy the pain and when we apply that to our lives if we’re hungry and well fed we can make decisions that are different than if we’re starving so when you have to make a big decision check in with yourself first and ask am I starving? and if I am what can I do to satisfy that so that I make a decision from a healthy place instead of a place of lack
