From Enriched to Whole: How I Lost 100 Pounds with Pancakes

Let’s talk about these pancakes, man. These are pancakes I grew up on and we used to stake in it, cause I like it, cause you just add water and they taste good, they’re fluffy, you hear me? But, uh, I started paying attention to the ingredients. And you see the enriched bleached flour. I talk about enriched food all the time. It lead to weight gain. I ended up gaining 100 pounds and ended up losing it. Still eating pancakes. But the enriched flour lead to weight gain because of the, the niacinamide to reduce iron, the thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid. These are all synthetic ingredients added during the enrichment process of the wheat flour. So when I Learned that I made the switch from that type of pancake to like this, a pancake like this, I started paying attention. I wanted to find something made with whole grain wheat flour that wasn’t enriched. When I made this switch, I started losing weight. Oh, my name is Benzel Israel. Like I said, I lost 100 pounds.
