I always wanted to tattoo Liverpool’s logo. So when in 2019 Liverpool won the, won the Champions Leagues for the sixth time, I told my father I’m gonna get tattooed. So my father also wanted to follow me to get it, but he backed out. Even my aunties have tattoos right now at the age of 60, 50, they want to go and get tattoos. So I think it’s something like it’s become a lifestyle rather than a taboo. I mean, I’ve seen a lot of people with sleeve tattoos, exposed tattoos who are working at the front of house. So I feel nowadays, uh, they don’t really have to consider whether, you know, that exposed tattoo will affect the chances of them, um, getting a job. That’s why I think it’s a clear rise in the number of youths getting tattoos. Ah ya, nowadays I feel that like the small tattoos have replaced the piercings that piercings can be not permanent. So I feel that it has less commitment, uh, less serious. We’re looking at a list of inspo pictures, inspiration pictures that I Send my tattoo artist. I think that youths are becoming more aware or open to the idea of tattoos. Cause in recent times, there’s been a lot of content being made also with, on social media and, um, online with regards to tattoos specifically. And so they are able to understand perhaps the motivations of people who get tattoos or even tattoo artists themselves. Tattoo is always a head Turner. Ah, so before we don’t have a tattoo, we are normally walking. I don’t think people will notice you unless you are very good looking. But once you have tattoos, people tend to look at you and see like what tattoos you have, if it’s nice. Any advice to people thinking about having a tattoo? Uh, if you have to ask somebody, you have to ask a friend, then don’t get it. Yes. Just shows that you’re not sure.
