Expert Tips on Preventing Washer Leaks and Overloading: A Guide for Proper Laundry Product Use

I’m called into a leaky washer. Customer couldn’t tell me where it was leaking from, but I suppose that’s what I’m there for. Checked all common leak spots, they were all okay. Had to run it. Obviously water is leaking out at dispenser. This is a problem. Cause if you set machine and then walk off, you’re gonna end up flooding your kitchen. It’ll just fill and fill. Removing drawer. That’s. I’ve reposted that and obviously I’ll tag the maker in it. You know, I’m always saying don’t overload stuff in your machine. That’s what happens if you do. Those drawers come out and you should take them out and clean them. But if you don’t put too much product in, that won’t happen. Just read the back of the box, the bottle or whatever. Do not overload. Honestly, just don’t. Now I always put liquids in the drum. Liquids and pods go in the drum. The only thing that I do put in the dispenser is powder. And I do that because when the water hits it and it rinses down the pipe, it starts to dissolve it. So by the time it gets to your washing, it’s partially dissolved. Stops you getting little bits of powder on it if you have inadvertently overloaded your machine. But honestly, don’t use too much product. You only need a little bit and you probably don’t need it in every wash either.
