when I found this piece on Facebook Marketplace for $25 it was love at first sight I mean never you mind that it was a little dirty and that we’re in the middle of another project that you can see right behind it doing the wall thankfully the dust wanted a holiday too and we were able to attach this old piece of dresser trim that just happened to fit perfectly and you know how one thing leads to another so yeah we have to paint the wall where it’s going to go and then we had a supervisor who was doing an excellent job by the way we have a two sided staircase and this is going on the landing from the side we don’t use super often I’m so excited to fill this space with something that really sets it apart and since it’s September 1st it’s almost pumpkin season right I love how these old homemade mail cubbies make everything feel cohesive instead of all of my little things all over the house they’re just in one place like a collection no matter where you are this holiday weekend I am sending loads and loads of vintage goodness your way I don’t know if you have a project going on or two like we do this weekend but if you do I hope it fills your soul as much as tending to this little space has filled mine and if you’re new to Whimsy Barn I’m so glad you’re here around here we do all things vintage and we talk about what it means to have joy for your journey my name is Sandy check out my online shop if you’d like maybe jump on our email list but definitely come back tomorrow because we’ll have more vintage goodness
