Efficient Meal Prep Tips for Feeding an Elderly Family Member and Beyond: A Game-Changing Secret Weapon

how do I make three meals a day seven days a week for an elderly family member and the rest of the family without living in the kitchen I have a secret weapon and when I started doing this one thing it was a complete game changer I ingredient prep like a restaurant at the beginning of the week I take one to two hours to prep ingredients starches grains proteins vegetables sometimes broths and sauces and then I mix and match the ingredients creating delicious meals easily all week long here’s what I prepped for the week I didn’t have too much time today so I kept it super simple and spent about an hour in the kitchen first I peeled and cut a variety of vegetables I steam these until they’re super soft so I can add them elderly parents meals throughout the week then I moved on to some marinated eggs I brought water and vinegar to a boil and dropped in the eggs to cook for eight minutes when you add vinegar to the water it makes it a lot easier to peel I marinate my eggs in a sauce that’s flavorful but not too salty or strong since our elderly parent cannot have too much salt and then I peel the eggs and cover them up for my starches and grains I roasted some sweet potatoes and cooked some brown rice noodles yesterday I made some couscous quickly so I also have that for the week then I marinated some chicken to easily cook this week and then I normally make a broth every week but I had made so much the week before that I was able to just freeze it and this week I just pulled it out of the freezer
