A Day in the Life at the 2024 Paralympic Games: Interviews, Editing, and Coffee

It may be the long weekend, but it’s also the 2024 Paralympics Games. So let’s head into the office early in the morning. I think this is at like 7 a. M. I’m definitely feeling tired after the early mornings. I mean, like earlier than I’m used to over the last week. We officially have one week left at the Paralympics. So I head in and it’s pretty dead on a Sunday, especially on the long weekend. But we head in to do our first shoot with an interview. We actually do back to back interviews with some swimmers who won medals. And I headed back to my desk, worked on some edits and planning out our next couple days of shoots and enjoyed another much needed coffee. Also was making some thumbnails and just making sure all the videos get out. And it was time for lunch. And today it was like this really good chicken situation. It was really yummy. We are very lucky to be fed while we’re working in the Paris just because we’re so busy that we don’t really have time to step way. Then we had another interview. This time it was like an analyst and we are breaking down everything happening in the pool. As a reminder, if you’re not watching the Paralympics, you definitely should be. There is more coverage than ever. Like look at the studio. It’s absolutely stunning and you should watch it on your TV every single night. I Gotta get back to work. Truly a Labor Day weekend for me, but that’s a typical day work in the Paralympics.
