The Order: Jude Law and Nicholas Hoult Discuss the Timely Relevance of their New Film at Venice Film Festival

Jude Law and Nicholas Hoult think that now is the time for a film like The Order. The film just got a 7 minute standing ovation at Venice Film Festival. The film follows federal agents who take on malicious who express racist as well as anti Semitic and neo Nazi views and at the press conference Jude spoke about the importance of a film like this in the times we’re living in. He said sadly the relevance speaks for itself. It felt like a piece of work that needed to be made now. Last month the UK experienced riots and anti immigration protests LED by the far right and Nicholas Hoult when asked if that made him look at his new movie in a different way, he said that although it was an American story set 40 years ago, it’s still relevant today and he says it’s also a global thing at the moment. He hopes the film can shed more light on how these sorts of events can occur and hopefully this can prevent it from happening anymore in the future. Are you guys gonna check out the order?
