Preparing the Camaro for Moving Day: Safely Removing the Front Lip for Transport

Boys, I’m about to be moving in the next couple days, and don’t worry, the Camaro is coming with me. And now, before anyone asks, no, I will not be driving this car all the way there. Which means I will be putting the Camaro on a truck all the way there. Before this truck goes on the trailer, I have to take this front lip off, because I don’t want it to get damaged in shipping. Now, for car guy standards, this car is not low at all. This is a 3:05, and look at that gap. But I don’t want it to get damaged, so let’s go ahead and remove it. I’m just gonna go ahead and Jack up the car. Now I just gotta remove all these bolts under here. I believe these are 7 millimeter. Look at that. I was right. It is a 7 millimeter. That was a ton of bolts. I really need to invest in some more power tools. Anyways, though, we got the splitter completely off. I like how it’s a three piece splitter. That way it’ll be easier to transport. Now all I got to do now is put all the bolts back on the bumper. And just like that, the splitters off, all the bolts are back on, and the car is lowered. This thing is all ready now to be transported. I can’t wait to put the front splitter back on, because the car looks so bad without a Front lip my car is like a default skin on Fortnite now.
