Dancing Through Practice: The Fun Side of Training for Paralympic Success

Hi, my name is Corbert Best, and I am Paralympic silver medalist. You already know I’m busting out the moves and practice, you know, so every block start, you know, I’m. I’m dancing, I’m hitting a moonwalk. You know, people got a speaker in the gym. I’m definitely dancing in the gym. So, you know, get a little pumping, you know, why. Why not bust a little move here and there? I think it’s really important for the team because I even think even in practice, some people can be tense, some people can be, you know, a little uptight. Maybe they have a hard workout that day. And I think me, whether it’s poking fun at you or making jokes with you or, you know, poking fun at the coach, you know what, whatever he’s doing, I think that can really ease your mind into the workout and be. And let you be able to perform your best. Relaxed, smooth and operative.
