here’s the only two things you need to say on stage when playing a show and realize that if you’re talking too much on stage that will get really cringe especially if you’re an opening act so the big thing you wanna do is you wanna say your artist name a couple times ideally you have a banner with your artist name where it’s clear to read but say it a couple times into the mic hey we’re this band thank you so much for coming say that after maybe the first or second song say it right before the last song so people know exactly who they watched it’s easy to get confused in the chaos of a live show so you wanna make it clear exactly who you are so people can follow you on socials etcetera etcetera the other key thing to say is just hey it’d be great if you could buy some merch our merch booth is over there and then point to it directly this really helps to elevate your merch sales and the best time to say that is probably right before the last song when you repeat your artist name and otherwise keep it simple and focus on the music and giving the greatest performance you can to win people over that simple follow for more DM for private consultation
