The Great Debate: Scotty’s Golf Handicap and the Art of Game Psychology

What do we think about Scotty saying that he plays as a plus 7 at home? That is not even close to enough. He said he wins like pretty much every match. He was playing off a plus 5 before, and then after he won all these tournaments, they made him go to a plus 7. Scotty giving me seven shots would be a blood bath, right? I’m taking Scotty every single time. You know, you hear guys who are like, at their club is like, oh, he’s a plus 6. Like, well, Scotty is the best golfer on the planet, so it sounds like you should probably be more in like the plus 10 range. JT was talking about it. They’re asking him like, well, are you playing as like a plus 7, basically. And he’s like, well, look like me and Scotty play a practice round. And he’s like, so what do you want here? You want like a stroke or side or something? Gigi’s like, that would be the most disrespectful thing in history, so that would never occur. JD’s like, but the more I do think about, he’s like, I’ll play back home with some mini tour guys, and I will say on the first tee like, alright, so what do you want to do here? Like, let me know for the game you need a couple shots. And he’s like, I know right then that the match is already over. He’s like, I know it’s Over cause they’re like, this guy thinks so poorly of me. He showed up and I play professional golf and he was like, do you need help? For an aspiring pro? That’s not what you want to hear.
