My name is Nicky Diaz. I’m a sitting volleyball Paralympian with Team USA. And you are playing 28 seconds with LA 28. I got into sitting volleyball, actually while I was playing in college, and I was very reluctant because I was naive and I knew nothing about parasport and I didn’t want people to view me as one of the athletes that couldn’t hack it in the traditional world. But I tried it, thankfully, and I loved it. So here we are. My favorite thing about sitting volleyball is blocking because I like shutting down people. Denied. Oh, I hate when people people sitting volleyball and they don’t play in shoes. I just feel like I’m just sliding in your toe juice. Eww. Haha. Recently it’s an album and it’s called Trap Worship Hallelujah. Haha.
