A Sparkly Adventure: From Blue Suitcases to Turkish Delights in Abudhabi

So we left this morning super, super early, my mom and I, for abudhabi. We abandoned my dad. He was so sad. Poor d. J. Chuck. You know, if you see a blue suitcase at the airport wrapped in plastic, you know where that came from. So we left in winter. It was very cold. And this is the first time my mom and I have ever been on a holiday together, ever. I watched pride and prejudice the whole way to Abudhabi. There it is. Look how pretty, so sparkly. We got there. It’s 1,000 degrees here. I was sweating, sweating. We went straight to my brother’s house and unpacked, drank some vodka, had a bit of a jam. And then my brother was like, let’s walk to the restaurants. I died. I died. Sudhir, that’s his girlfriend, took us to the most incredible Turkish restaurant. I had shisha, which is like hook up a bit better. And she ordered pretty much everything on the menu. I don’t know what that was, but that was amazing. Oh my god. I’m getting that. It’s like shivell, but raw shivell. Anyway, so we walked home. It’s really beautiful. There are cats everywhere and they’re so friendly. Day 2 tomorrow.
