Come with me to get a tin type photo in Austin, the studio is in a wagon at the back of this restaurant called Justine’s Brasserie. We went on a Sunday night, and it was so cool. It had all sorts of vintage clothes and homemade jewelry for sale. Then I got into place, and I was really nervous. I was trying to decide if I was gonna smile or be serious. And then they develop the photo right in front of you moments after you take it. It was the most surreal experience. I did one solo portrait, and then I also got this one with my mom. And I can already tell it’s gonna be such a special family heirloom. It was so fun.
