This video shows us how to repair a hole in fabric. Though not every tear’s edges are this perfect, it’s still a good method to know. I think one of the most important things to know is to not start at the very edge. You need to start just a little bit before the tear begins to give yourself a solid foundation. Now, if you’re in this situation and you have nasty edges and you can clean them up a little bit, you’re gonna have a better stitch. But the trick is here is looping in two edges at one time. That’s gonna build for a strong foundation on the sides. And as you reach the end, just as you did in the beginning, you wanna make sure to give yourself a little extra stitch for foundation.
