Stop doing your cable rows like this, especially if you’re trying to get rid of your love handles. Now what we wanna do is control the reps so we’re not swinging. That way we can actually target our lats and engage our back muscles. So grab the bar, make sure you loop your thumbs on the outside of the bar here and when you’re doing the movement, make sure your elbows are pushing down and back so you can really hit your lats and squeeze your lats for a second and then control it on the way back down. Now what this will do is help build lean upper body muscle as long as your protein is super high. And how this is gonna help you make your waist appear smaller is that when you have more back muscles, when you have more upper body muscle, your waist appears a lot slimmer. Now in order to lose all the fat around your waist, you have to be in a calorie deficit with protein through the roof. That makes it the easiest. So again, when we’re doing this, drive your elbows down and back, hold for a second and then control the weight all the way back down.
