Unveiling the Secrets of Sidewalk Monitors: A Surprising Discovery on Cities’ Technological Infrastructure

Cities are full of these random monitors on the sidewalk now, and I’ve always wondered, how do they work? Is it one computer that’s hooked up to, like, 40 monitors, or is it one computer per monitor? Well, yesterday I was walking around, and I saw one crash, which means we can see the specs of the computer that’s running it. I’m too excited about this. As you can see here, it’s running off of an I 5 60. Three hundred U. Now, when Intel’s naming scheme, U means ultra low power. Whatever this system is, it’s probably either a mini PC or maybe even a laptop. It’s got 16,384 megabytes of RAM, which comes out to around 16 gigs, which is a lot for what is basically just a billboard. Here at the bottom, we have a CMOS checksum error, which probably just means that the CMOS battery is dead and needs to be replaced. This is the highlight of my trip. I saw this, I started jumping for joy. Everyone started looking at me like I was special.
