Why don’t we use a hook to mix our marshmallows? When I first started, I had no idea why we use these huge whisks. So I’m doing an experiment to find out if I can make a marshmallow with a hook. I have no idea if this is gonna work, but I made this small batch to try it out. A whisk puts air into the batter to make fluffy marshmallows, but the hook isn’t really doing that at all. At least when I put it out, it was super runny and it left a bunch of satisfying bubbles to pop. But cutting this marshmallow was so dense, reminded me of an eraser. I mean, look at the difference compared to a normal marshmallow. And it was so tough to pull apart, I couldn’t even rip it with my own hands. So have I just made an indestructible marshmallow?
