This is the cheapest BMW M5 on the planet, which I bought after it crashed. And now I’m rebuilding it with no experience. I’m about to try something very stupid. Right now, I’m working on reinstalling the engine. But before I can do that, I need to fix this small little sensor that’s only accessible with the engine out. I’m also gonna replace the intercooler while it’s not in the car, just to make things a little easier. Getting the engine in is a scary process. To lower the entire car onto the engine and then bolt it up from underneath. But once that’s done, I can start to do the next terrifying task. When the car got into the crash, it crushed A ton of wires, all of which I assume are important. So I need to delicately wire every single one of them back together. I’ve never done something like this before, but it’s proving to not be too terrible, just very time consuming. After that, we can start to install some new parts to replace the ones that were damaged in the crash. We’re also going to reinstall the ECU’s and start to figure out where all of the hoses connect to, which isn’t easy on these complicated modern cars. All of this puts us super close to starting the car for the first time since the crash. So make sure you’re following
