And what people don’t realize when they have to use the tap function when they normally don’t, is they walk away from the ATM, forgetting to close their account. Which leaves room for people to walk up to the ATM, withdraw lots of money, and basically scam that person. The latter is what’s being reported on, but the first one isn’t being covered enough. Banks collect a lot of personal information. On you, they have to. Legally, they have your residence, your Social Security number, your passwords, your login, your balance, and so much more private information. In addition to that, if something funky is going on, they can disclose it to the proper authorities. For most banks, there’s an internal service where essentially, if they detect fraud in your account, and if they find that you’re doing it, they can report it to other banks so that it’s harder to open up a checking or savings account. I’ve been seeing a lot of people on the for you page saying, hey, this glitch works. It works for now, and I’m sorry to say, but the debt is going to follow you. Like, especially the people with upwards of $10,000 in debt. There’s basically no way you’re going to escape this. So you have to figure out a way to make that money back.
