I just bought this new to me Mazda MX five and I immediately took it racing out of Calabogie Motorsports Park in their Miata series. And you won’t believe the overtake I was able to do in my first race with it. I was following this blue MX five for a little while and I noticed I had more speed coming out of turn one leading into turn 2, looked up the in inside, but I didn’t have the speed or the confidence to make that overtake happen. But then I got the best overtake of my racing career with a full who said I fake to stay on the racing line and try to go around the outside and then at the last second switch back to the inside and send it up the inside on the blue one. Holy shit. Haha. What a move. I was pretty impressed with that one. What can I say?
