Revolutionizing Education: Proposals for a Four-Day School Week, Second Adult in Every Classroom, and Fully Stocked Classrooms

Hey, Tim Walls. From a current educator to a former educator, I have a few requests. It’s about time that we move to a four day school week. Either teachers get that day off, or teachers have a day to plan, to prepare to grade, to communicate with families, do all the work that we do not actually have time to do. So let’s make sure we. We move to a four day week. We have got to get a second adult in every classroom. What we are asking educators to do, it’s. It’s just too much for one person. The way we need to differentiate for every single learner, it’s just too much for one person to do completely on their own. A second adult would be transformative for ensuring that the needs of our students are actually met. And finally, I. I want you to provide all of our students and all of our educators with fully stocked classrooms that are decorated beautifully, that have the furniture that are our kids actually need, that are full of snacks and manipulatives and every single thing that students and teachers need. Just fully there, ready in August, in September, on the first day of school. And teachers just show up on the first day. They don’t have to actually set up their space. It’s just ready to go. Imagine. Let. Let’s. Let’s just. Let’s make all these things happen.
