Becoming a Doctor: A Journey of Conviction and Calling

So I’ve always known that I wanted to do medicine. I’ve always wanted to be a doctor. And I guess I knew I made the right choice. Probably when I first walked into a hospital in Year 1 as a medical student, and I was able to speak to patients and was learning how to take histories and how to perform clinical exams. And I just remember thinking, yeah, this is right for me. I felt like this was just something that I almost was, like, made to do. It felt just really natural to me.
