Rope Dropping Animal Kingdom: A Magical Morning Adventure

Come with me to rope drop Animal Kingdom! I just parked at Animal Kingdom and it is bright and early. The park opens at 8:00. I’m here around 7:45 and we’re gonna see how much we can get done in the first couple hours that the park is open. I don’t have Lightning Lane. I don’t have whatever it’s called, the new Multipass? I haven’t even tried that yet. If you guys want to see a vlog of me trying that, let me know. But I really haven’t had to try it lately. I never really got Genie Plus in the past. Ever buy a Fast pass? It’s usually for like an individual lightning lane. I haven’t tried out the new system yet, but the main reason I’m at Animal Kingdom this morning is because there is a new annual pass holder magnet and I haven’t got it yet because the park has been closing so early. Animal Kingdom is usually my go to park to go to after work, but now that it’s been closing at 6:00, it doesn’t really make sense with my 9 to 5 up bright and early this morning. So come along with me to rope drop Animal Kingdom and get my annual passholder magnet! I feel like I always get stopped in security when I’m trying to rope drop and hurry into the park. And I never change what’s in my fanny pack, so I don’t know what sets it off, but even if It slows me down a few minutes. Always thankful for Disney security when I rope drop. Animal Kingdom. I love to start my mornings at the Safari. The wait time said 15 minutes, but it was basically just the walks to the safari truck. I ended up having one of the best safaris I’ve had in a long time. So enjoy a little morning safari. Right? So do you know when they actually hide? You might be my one. I would be, like, sitting down. We’re gonna wait to see what the spots we’ll get. Look at this big boy to sleep in, too. Look at Justin Timberlake. Oh, my god, I. I can’t do better than that. Let me know if you guys agree, but sitting on the left side of the safari is usually better for, like, views. So if you can sit on the left side, sit on the left side. But of course, the right side is good, too. I love the vibes at Animal Kingdom always, but I feel like the morning time is just so good. The wait time for Everest said Only 20 minutes. I decided to check if the single rider was open. It wasn’t even open yet, so I went into standby and waited about 10 minutes. Not bad at all. This is one of my favorite Disney rides, and actually CJ’s favorite. Oh, my god. Een twee after getting off, a single rider was open, and I waited less than Five minutes in this line, so rode Evers twice. I would say if you’re doing Animal Kingdom in the morning the multi pass isn’t worth it just cause the lines are so short. I would just do like an individual lightning lane for Avatar Flight of passage, but headed in to Dino Land to ride Dinosaur. This said it was a 10 minute wait, but I ended up waiting about five minutes. Taking advantage of any chance I get to ride this ride before it officially goes away. Hello there! Welcome to our little trans dimensional joyride folks! Let me know if you’re sad about the changes or excited about Indiana Jones. But it was officially time for the reason I came to Animal Kingdom to get the new annual pass holder magnet. If you haven’t heard yet, you can pick up your Lion King magnet in Dino Land until September 22nd. It is so cute and actually has two characters on it. It’s actually in like the Chester and Hester’s merchandise store, which is also where you can find new emos at Animal Kingdom. Those are little characters I wear on my fanny pack, but I love that Timon and Pumbaa are this magnet. Immediately adding to my fridge at home. I’m also so gonna Miss chip and Dale in these little Dinosaur onesies. They are so cute! Also said hi to Donald and Daisy on the way out of Dino Land, but now it’s time to walk through the Merchandise stores. I usually love the merch at Animal Kingdom, but I feel like this store changes every single time I come in here. Like the layout and everything. I just did a quick little walkthrough, didn’t really see anything that I needed, but they had a whole bunch of graphic tees and they had a bunch of the new Haunted Mansion shirt, which is really cute for Halloween, or honestly all year round. They even had some of the embroidered park icon tees that you guys love. A whole bunch of ears and I couldn’t believe it. You can actually create your own headband now at Animal Kingdom! This was supposed to only be at Disney Springs, I’m curious to see if it’s eventually going to come to all the parks. But if you haven’t seen these yet, you pick a headband and then you can customize it with different characters. I’m obsessed with this and have been wearing mine all the time. And then of course they had a huge Halloween section. Lots of Nightmare Before Christmas. All the Halloween merch and also Haunted Mansion. Walked across the way to the other store and it’s funny, this store I feel like doesn’t ever change. It always has the same stuff. Still lots of Stitch Merch, which people feel really different about. And I love this little Winnie the Pooh section. And I’m still obsessed with these sweatshirts. They are just so good. Trust me, I loved the Play in the parks collection when it came out, but I feel like it’s been out for a while. I did do things kind of backwards today. I usually film my outfit of the days first thing when I get to the parks, but it was so early, so I stopped at one of my favorite places to take pictures at Animal Kingdom and got some content. If you follow me, you know what time it is. It’s time to go eat lunch, basically breakfast, cause it was still so early. At my favorite quick service on all of Disney property. It smells so good in here. And it is so good. I ended up actually going live and chatting with you guys while I enjoyed my lunch. But that was my morning at Animal Kingdom. Well, guys, that was my little animal Kingdom morning. It was, like, the perfect amount of time. Got everything I wanted to get done, and now I have the rest of the day to go run some errands, finish decorating the house for Halloween and fall, and just spend some time relaxing with Maui. Before we get in to some of the craziest months. So this was actually the last weekend for two months that CJ and I don’t have something planned, because we have bachelorette bachelorette parties. I do have some work trips mixed in there, bridal showers. Just so many things going on, and I just want to, like, be able to. Like, soak it in and enjoy it. But I know it’s gonna be, like, a crazy few months, but thanks for following along with me on a little Animal Kingdom. Rope drop. Morning! My favorite Disney vlogs are the casual ones like this one, but let me know if you guys have any other Disney vlogs or Disney ideas that you guys wanna see. Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend, and I will see you guys in my next Disney vlog.
