Incredible Stained Glass and Personal Touches: A Detailed House Tour Part 2

I know I shouldn’t have left you hanging like that, but welcome back to part 2 of the house tour. So as you head up the stairs, you make your way to the most insane stained glass window, which is one of the features that made us fall in love with this house. And on this window we just have a few little nods to our wedding, including this lovely sketch that my sister in law drew for us of the venue that we got married. Now if you’re ever overcome with the urge to pee halfway up the stairs, don’t worry cause I have got you covered guys. With this tiny bathroom, which fun fact I’ve never actually used. And yes, I know how ridiculous that sounds. I should probably rectify that. I’m on maternity leave at the moment, so I’ve been off work since last November, which is when my son was born. But when I am at work, I tend to work a bit from the office and a bit from home. And when I’m working from home, this is my desk. I love the fact that I’m sat in the open space when I’m working and it’s just lovely to be able to look at the stained glass window. Next up is mine and my husband bedroom. My only two requirements for this room is that we had a super king bed and also a really nice dressing table that I could sit at and store And do my makeup in front of some lovely natural light. All of our dusty pink furniture is by the same lady that did our incredible bar in the first video. And then because this is our bedroom, I decided it would be lovely to have a little feature wall with all of our favourite adding photos. Our bed and bedside tables are from the French Bedroom Company, and if you never heard of them before, check them out because they do the most incredible ornate furniture. The next room I’m gonna take you to is the Blue Room. And this is our main guest room. So when we have friends or family coming to stay, this is where we usually put them. This room isn’t quite finished yet because I want to change the bed and the bedside tables because I don’t think they really go with the vibe of the room at the minute. Our bedside table lamps are Ralph Lauren, and I actually found these in TK Maxx, which is unbelievable. I didn’t even know they stocked Ralph Lauren home there. The blue room is great for guests cause it has an ensuite bathroom. But when we don’t have guests here, this is usually where my son has his baths before bed. And ever since we moved him into his own nursery, he’s been a really good sleeper. Here is the nursery. My inspiration for decorating the nursery was around the world in 80 days. I love The idea of a hot air balloon theme and I thought this was something that would grow with him into to toddlerhood rather than just being a baby nursery. This is definitely one of the most serene rooms in the house when it’s not strewn with all of his toys. And I’ve got to give a shout out to my father in law, who was the one who meticulously put up the hot air balloon wallpaper for us, and it looks so good. This bedroom also has its own ensuite bathroom, which will be super handy for Fitz when he gets a bit older. And how awesome is this little window in the bathroom? It’s great to have a look out whilst you’re in the shower. Next up we’re gonna head upstairs to the top floor, which is probably the area of the house that need needs the most work. We’ve just had a new bathroom installed and I wanted a pink bathroom because if you haven’t already noticed, I love everything pink. But we still need to do a little bit of painting and a few extra bits and pieces in here so it’s not white finish. I absolutely love a herringbone tile, so I was thrilled when we had these installed. Next up is our other spare room, and I think this will probably end up being my son’s room, so I’m gonna hold off on redecorating this for now because I’m gonna wait until he tells me If he wants a superhero room or a Lego room, the final room in the house is my husband’s office. And fun fact, we played rock, paper, Scissors, see whether this would be his office or my walk in wardrobe. And guess who, I’m currently in the process of looking at lots of office inspo photos because I really want to completely redo this room. So if anyone has any ideas, let me know. And that is the full house tour. Guys, thank you so much for watching.
