Anthony Edwards got the most dick riding fans of all time. Y’all are annoying and will flagrantly be wrong and tell me I’m the casual, but let’s get into it. Let’s really talk hoops right here. Alright, so JT versus Antman. Let’s start with scoring. I want y’all to know Anthony Edwards has not been an efficient regular season score one year in his entire career. On his high volume he is below league average on efficiency. Tatum shoots better from 3 on more attempts. He shoots better in the paint on more attempts. Anthony Edwards shoots 28% from mid range. PJ Tucker could do that. League average is 44. But let’s stick on offense though. Let’s talk about how Anthony Edwards as a primary ball handler can’t pass through traffic. Anthony Edwards said himself, I don’t know how to throw lobs. He can’t even throw skip passes to the open man. The second you crowd his driving lanes, his decision making goes into the toilet. And this is why the Mavs exploited that and he played so bad. And I’m not saying Tatum is goddamn Magic Johnson, he don’t got that Itachi Uchiha disease, but he’s more than shown he’s capable of playing the pick and roll as the ball handler. Or catching the ball, driving, and making the right read to open shooters. That’s what they did versus the Mavericks all series. This is versus the Mavericks in the finals. They tried to do him like Ant Man And he killed them on these passes the whole series. Made them pay. And there’s versatility to it. He could do it at the top of the key as the ball handler and he could play make out the post as well. Like come on bro he’s clear the better offensive player. And you know what’s crazy? He clears him even worse on defense. Tatum could have been a first team all defense player this year. Bro was keeping up with Donovan Mitchell on the perimeter and then the very next play switching on to Evan Mobley playing defensive minutes at the 5 for the Celtics. That’s the type of versatility he provides. Trapping Tyrese Haliburton in the corner and then the series right before they used him as a rim protector. Like come on bro I usually don’t like to gatekeep, if you think ant is any sort of the level of defender that Tatum is, you not watching. You not you not you can’t be. He’s pretty good on ball, but that’s all people care about. He’s legitimately bad off ball and that matters a lot. I feel like I’ve made my point, but I also want to address this comment. Ant has one bad game and all of a sudden Tatum is better? It is quite literally the opposite. Tatum shot poorly through the playoffs and ANT had two good series and now ant clears him. I remember and don’t even try to lie. Y’all said That Tatum surpassed KD in 2022 because the Nets got swept by the Celtics and KD was playing like ass. I want you to understand how goofy the NBA community is cause that would mean that ant right now is better than 2022 KD. That don’t even sound right. Or it would mean that Tatum got so much worse since then that he went from better than KD to worse than ant. What now?
