Maximizing Success: The Value of Time Management and Investing in Yourself

I watch my dad do this all the time. He would drive around and mow lawns at different apartment complexes he own because he’d rather do it himself and he saved the money by paying somebody else to do it. The challenge was he didn’t have the time to actually go look at more real estate deals. If you don’t have time to invest in yourself to be better because you’re too busy majoring in minor things, spend money to save time, not time to save money. I seen people drive for 20 minutes to go to Costco to save 10 cents on gas, not realising how valuable their time is. And they could have just paid a little bit more, got that 20 minutes back and then use that to go become more valuable. The most successful people I know protect their time.
