Smart Home Dashboard Update: Streamlining Control and Automation

Quick update regarding my dashboard. I have done 3 things. I’ve created a very simple dashboard for now. I’ve thrown all the entities that I think are the most useful in this case. I have the control of all the lights in the room. Adaptive lighting, AC management, robot vacuum management with the map and the history of the robot and the some power management here. Next for power management, as you can see here, the Jink 8 e allows me to power this tablet when it’s full mounted. And I only activate it when the tablet is under 70% and disable it when the tablet is over 80% to maintain and prolong the battery life. Let’s check it out here. It’s 72%. So if I wanted to turn it on right now, I would just need to do this run. And as you can hear it, the tablet is charging. Another thing that I did is the really simple screen management. So if I’m not here for a moment, the screen will turn off. I’m hiding myself in the bedroom and when I come back, the screen will turn on again. I also wanted to go a step further and integrate it into my gaming and cinema automation. And I want to be able to control things around the house. But when I start playing a movie, I want the tablet to turn off and when I stop playing the movie, it should turn back on for me to Control things around the house. So that’s all that I did for now. It’s the first step. Let me know what you think in the comments and what you want to see next. See you soon.
