I’ll do a lot of contrast, right? The word contrast I use a lot here. One of the principles is we know life through its contrast. The most powerful weight loss stories is the one we see. The before and after pictures cause you see the contrast. But that person losing the weight the whole time didn’t even notice the weight loss because of what’s called change blindness. blindness is change that happens so slow that you don’t even see it. You just Google change blindness on YouTube. You can watch an image and they say, watch this image. See if you notice what changes. And you’re watching and you go, nothing changed. And then they flash back to the old you, like 47. Things change. We just happen so slow that you don’t see it. And so if your talk is slow and if the changes too gradual, the audience won’t feel it. So you got to create the transition and the contrast.
