Savoring the Delights at Big Mose Diner: A Review of Ribs, Steaks, and More

You see these lamb ribs? They’re putting a smile on my face. You see the steaks? You already know the rules. Medium. We don’t do well done over here. It’s another episode of You Talk, I listen. Come with me to Big Mose Diner, located in Ilford. Before we eat, we’ve got to hydrate. We’re starting off with their lemonade coolers, sugar around the rim. I love the attention to detail. Me and cause both said they slept. You know, if it’s blue, I’ll drink it. This one’s called blue mix. Blue and sweet. Can’t complain. Time for the starters. And we’re going for the brisket, burnt ends and the barbecue wings. You see these burnt ends just glistening? You see my reaction when I say these were crazy? Crispy with a sweet glaze. You have to get these. Time for the wings now. In their house. Barbecue sauce, sweet and smoky. They were nice, but the brisket ends were definitely better for me. Ocean said it’s better with the ranch, so make sure you try that. The tables scenario is crazy. We’re talking ribs, burgers, steaks. Starting off with the buttermilk fried chicken burger, and it’s looking serious. Yeah, this one was crispy. Serious chicken burger. Crunch test. Crunch test. Crunch test. Do you need some salt? I’ll give them a pass. Time for the Big Mose cheeseburger. And of course, you made it a double. This one here was juicy. Cheese melted perfectly. Very good burger. When it Comes to burgers. These guys know what they’re doing. Time for the steaks. And we’ll start with a T bone, dipping it in that garlic butter. I’ve had a lot of steaks in my time, and for me, there’s definitely room for improvement. They were salted, but they weren’t stand out. Rib eye is way better than the T bone. But this right here is where the magic happened. These lamb ribs, so good, it don’t even make sense. They were juicy. The barbecue glaze and the dry rub worked together perfectly. They’re so good. I’m craving them right now. This is definitely the main event. We got their sliders, too. And the new addition here is the brisket burger. The brisket with the jalapenos and their chipotle Mayo elite combo. You know, we had to end it with something sweet. We’re talking their premium Kinder Bueno cookie dough. I don’t even need to talk too much. You can see how this one’s that big. Moe’s Diner. Definitely recommend.
