Okay, so I just got back from church and lunch not that long ago, and it has come to my attention that I am always telling you all why you should follow the Lord, but I’ve never actually told you why I follow Christ. So I wanna make, like, a little series of different reasons why I follow Christ, and I’m gonna start today, so in no particular order. One of the reasons that I follow Christ is because he literally makes me a better person. Like, when I read the Bible and I read what God’s Word says, I actively strive to be a better person, a more healed person. I cannot tell you how much of my flesh wants to come out. Like when I feel like someone isn’t treating me right, or like, when I know for a fact that someone has lied to me, or if I know that someone else has done someone else wrong. You get the point? God has seriously healed me so much. Like when I tell you Jesus has rewired my heart. He truly has. I can’t explain it other than the fact of, like, you have to read the Bible because it is truly transformative. It makes you want to be better. You may have every desire to fall into generational cycles, thought patterns, whatever. But let me tell you, Jesus, he will take all of that and make you new. I know because he’s done it for me. Following Jesus makes me be a better person. Like, I feel so free with Jesus.
