Channel 4 invited me to Paris to watch the Paralympic Games, and of course I had to bring my bestie Bob with me. After watching Ezra talk about how he wanted to win gold for 100 days, it was so great to actually watch him win gold live in person. But of course I was there to also support my home country Team GB. I’ve always loved watching the Paralympic Games on Channel 4, but actually visiting and watching it in person was just indescribable. When these athletes run past, Bob said to me, can you run that fast? Also, this guy may have got a foul, but he made the best sand angel. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how catchy Brazil’s national anthem is before people say Amy, why don’t you sign up to LA 28? Um, excuse me, I am non athlete and will never be. This was so satisfying. Now I can’t wait for tomorrow.
