Apple Cider Braised Pork Shoulder: A Flavorful One Pot Meal for Fall

It’s been a while since we’ve added to our one pot series, so here’s Episode 9. Apple Cider Braised Pork Shoulder. The apple cider really takes classic pork roast up a notch. Start by rubbing your pork down with a simple seasoning, then sear it in a Dutch oven. Make sure to do all sides, because this will make crispy skin. When you’re ready to serve, add apple cider, potatoes, apples, and fresh herbs to your pot, and then place the pork on top. Let it braise in the oven at 3:25 for around three to three and a half hours. Your pork should come out easily shredtable and infused with all of that delicious apple cider. Yum, yum. Serve this up with more of the drippings, and you’ve just made the easiest one pot meal that is so flavorful and perfect for fall.
