Exclusive AMD Ryzen gaming CPU drop at Micro Center sparks controversy: A missed opportunity for many fans

AMD just dropped a brand new gaming CPU. That’s probably the best option, but it comes with some really bad news that I just do not support. The rumors over the last few weeks were right because the Ryzen 5 70 6 hundred X 3D is now a thing. And more than likely it’s gonna be an absolute perfect chip for gaming if you don’t want to spend the money on a 70 800 X 3D. The problem is that this is yet another AMD CPU that’s exclusive to Micro Center, and it’ll be priced at 2 99. Now to be clear, I do love Micro Center, and if I live close to one I’d be there at least weekly. I also love the Ryzen CPUs right now because they’re a great product. But launching a good CPU that’s exclusive to a store that most people don’t live next to, that I do not support. Like, not even a little bit. Here’s the map of Microcenter stores. So if you do live close to one, then by all means grab this CPU and better yet, pair it with a motherboard bundle and you’ll save a ton of money. I just think that the concept is very anti consumer. I do understand why they do things like this though, but it sucks for most of us. Like from my POV the CPU doesn’t even really exist. The closest store for me is out in Cleveland and there are definitely way too Many Cleveland Browns fans out there. Steelers are gonna win the AFC North by the way.
