Legacy Gaming is bringing you all the big secrets in Black Myth. Wukong. Let’s keep moving through chapter 2. Our next secret is multi part, but the reward is well worth the effort. To start, we’ll want to begin at the rock rest flat keeper shrine. This is just past the cave we were just exploring before reaching the mother of stone. From here, you’ll want to head past the shrine towards the opposite side of the area. If there’s a spear bone enemy blocking your path, you’re in the right place. Defeat him and break the barrier to enter a large arena. In the center, you’ll notice a rather rotund NPC. Talk to him and he’ll admit he needs to sober up. Enter the sobering stone that you just purchased from the man in stone. Deliver the item and exhaust his dialogue, and he’ll tell you he needs some food and he’s heading to the Crouching Tiger Temple. If you haven’t reached this location yet, you’ll need to pass through the valley of despair to reach it. That’s good though, because along the way you’ll encounter the first Prince of flowing sand. Defeating him will grant you the Arhat Gold piece, which we’ll need later on this quest. Once you reach the Tiger Temple, head up the stairs, but before entering the temple, hang a right and you’ll see the yellow robed squire sitting against the wall. He’ll ask for some lotus root, which can be found in the Ponds throughout Chapter 2 deliver this to him, and he’ll return to his original location, travel back to the rock rest flat keeper shrine, and head to the area where we first found the Squire. This time, he’ll be halfway up the hill on the right and upset that you stole the R hot gold piece. Defeat the boss in combat and you’ll receive the snout mask headpiece. Now, once subdued, the Squire will reveal the doorway to a mysterious new realm. Enter, and after a short walk, you’ll be confronted by another boss, the Tiger Vanguard. This is a similar boss to the one you fought in the Crouching Tiger Temple, so the move set should feel somewhat familiar. Once defeated, he’ll drop the Tiger Tally curio, which is actually quite strong if you’re building for offense. Once you’re done here, keep moving through the zone until you reach the yellow wind sage standing on a ledge. A great cinematic will play, and the sage will bang on a massive drum next to him, summoning the giant beetle boss, Uban. This is one of the largest encounters in the entire game, and while not necessarily hard, it certainly takes some getting used to given how massive the boss is. Halfway through the fight, fubun will fall to the ground, and you’ll need to climb up its shell and extract the item on top. Once you do that, the fight will resume and you can finish him off with the Help of the yellow wind sage. With Fuvon vanquished, you will arguably have one of the most important rewards up to this point. The wind tamer. This is a vessel that increases incoming damage just by being equipped. When used, you gain massive damage reduction for a short period of time and are immune to strong winds. That effect in particular is handy when you eventually confront the Chapter 2 end boss which I won’t reveal. Here. Keep it right here for all the secrets in Black Myth Wukong.
