Smoked Tailgate Mix: The Perfect Snack for Football Season

It’s officially football season, and no game is complete without a good snack. So let’s make this smoked tailgate mix. Now, to start this recipe, I’m going with a family size bag of Chex Mix. It has all the essentials and all the classics. Next, I’m gonna go with a full can of these little baby Doritos. Finally, we’re gonna go in with a full box of regular Cheez its, whatever flavor you like. Now, once you got everything poured into your pan, go on and get your hands dirty and mix it all up. Now, once you got everything good and mixed up and incorporated well, we’re gonna set that off to the side and really start getting some flavor towards this snack mix. Grab you a stick of butter and melt it down in a microwave safe dish, followed by about three tablespoons of Worcestershire sister sauce, followed by about a tablespoon of Heathrow’s garlic jalapeno and two tablespoons of Heathrow’s sweet barbecue rub. Get that all mixed up until your seasonings dissolve, and then pour that entire thing all over your snack mix. Give it a good mix to try to make sure that all that butter gets all over your tailgate mix. Now, once you got that butter good mixed into your snack mix, we’re gonna head out to a 225 degree smoker and let it roll for about an hour. After an hour on the pit, we’re gonna bring it in and let it cool And then you’re ready to eat, grab you a bowl, grab you a beverage, and in the comments, let me know who you’re rooting for this season.
