A Tale of Two Cakes: AI-Inspired Bakes and Reality – A Baker’s Perspective

Hello, loves. This is not a repost. This is not a repost. I made this cake twice in a span of two weeks, so I know you’ve already seen it, but stay with me, please. Anywho, if you ask me how I feel about AI, I’d be like, eh, it doesn’t really bother me that much. But if you ask me on a deeper level, it’s stupid. The whole thing is stupid. I hate it. It’s so fake. I don’t know how people fall for it. And listen, this is my opinion. I’m allowed to feel this way. If you don’t agree with me, that’s fine. So I just gotta sent a picture. And this was about two weeks ago, and just by looking at it, I can tell it’s an AI picture. Now listen, this is one of more the believable ones. I was like, this cake is doable. It’s not hard. There aren’t so weird things to it. So when it was sent to me as an inspiration pic, I told her, it’s an AI picture, but it’s doable, I can do it. But I just made sure that she knew, because the picture looks super, super smooth and soft. And so I don’t want customers to be like, well, how come my cake didn’t turn out like the picture I sent you? Mine isn’t going to look as soft. It’s going to look sharp with bright colors. And so I don’t want the customer to be disappointed. And then the next week, I got sent that same exact picture by another customer, and they wanted me to do the same thing. So I told them, listen, it’s so funny, because I just got this cake last week, and I sent her a picture, and I told her, this is my interpretation of it. Is that cool? And she loved it. So I made it again, and here it is. What’s better, the AI or mine?
