Yummy Homemade Hummus: A Comedy of Errors

Today we’re making yummy hummus. So what we wanna do is drain the chickpeas into a sieve, save some of the chickpea juice. I don’t know if that’s a thing or what you call it, cause you’re gonna use it later. This is gonna be the hardest part. I’m not good at opening cans. Okay, um, normally Jordan does this for me. Oh, fuck me. I’m gonna get it a few moments later. You want to. Oh, man, I got the recipe wet. You add the tahini. Why is everything so hard? Oh, come on. Okay, not gonna lick this spoon. Two tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, and we’ll do three tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Now we add about one and a/2 tablespoons of the chickpea liquid. Back in, y’all. It’s smelling fucking good. Yeah, that looks bomb. Little bit of extra virgin olive oil on it. Everything. Bagel seasoning, which I’m really excited about.
