Sneaky Music Marketing: Using Clickbait and YouTube to Gain Online Exposure

Here’s an unethical way to market your music using two of the most popular websites in the world. What you’re gonna do is go on to YouTube and search up the following viral Twitch stream reaction. You’re gonna go through these videos until you find a reaction that perfectly sinks up with your song. Use the website YouTube to MP four dot com to download the video. Make a video that starts off with your song playing. Behind that Twitch streamer reaction, put some clickbait text on screen that says something along the lines of Tyson Ott’s insane reaction to Ralph’s new song posted onto all of your social media pages. And you’ve just clickbaited the entire internet into thinking that their favourite Twitch streamer is a fan of you and your music. Since we know that FOMO and Social Proof are two of the strongest marketing tools that exist, you’ve got all those Twitch streamers fans jumping on the bandwagon and becoming a fan of you.
