Reflections on the Idol-Fan Relationship: The Reality Behind Idols and Their Imperfections

Just very disappointing. Disappointing, but, like, at the end of the day, not surprised in the sense of, like, anyone can do that. They’re idols. That doesn’t mean that they’re perfect or our Saints. People always like, oh, you shouldn’t idolize idols, but, you know, it’s hard when you get into the genre and you fall in love with the group you just love. That shouldn’t be the point, though. The group. Do not blame the fans for this. It shouldn’t be that the fans shouldn’t get attached. It should be that the idols should be decent human beings and not do that. That’s the point.
